With many schools now regularly using our Schools website to find out information for projects on World War II, we have produced a brand new and unique Schools' pack designed to bring the subject to life.
What makes Erskine's pack different is the ability for you to meet the veterans behind the stories on our DVD and face to face.
The aim of the pack is to provide an educational resource covering three main areas of the curriculum as well as educating children about the role of the Armed Forces, the ex-Service Community and their relevance in today's society. It is also designed to educate children about the charity and the important work we do in providing care, housing and supported employment for veterans of all ages.
We have some exciting plans to develop the schools site with one area geared to primary school children aged 5 - 10 and one for 11 plus. Both will be interactive with lots of games making education fun. Watch this space as we introduce a new character to Erskine in 2008, who will appeal to children of all ages and the roll out our new schools website.
