Erskine Print, has expanded its print capability opening up new markets for the Renfrewshire based printer.
The acquisition of a new Direct Imaging Press, a Wide Format Printer and a Production Copier will ensure greater productivity, flexibility, faster turnaround, and places Erskine Print in a better position to meet printing requirements from buyers across Scotland.
The new machinery will also provide employment opportunities for more ex-Service personnel, as the new technology is more geared to IT skills than traditional printing methods.
Other benefits of this investment will see less wastage and a more environmentally friendly process, which fits in with the charity’s drive for a smaller carbon footprint. The machine was so large that part of the wall had to be knocked through to get it into the building.
Print Manager, Alan Crawley said, “For over ten years now Erskine Print has been providing a range of services for both the commercial and domestic marketplace – essentially a high street printer in an out of town situation. Now we are in a strong position to win a significant share of all full colour print work and handle a much wider range of business. The Wide Format Printer will also open up new opportunities in graphics, which will appeal to individuals as much as the business market place whether it is banners, personalised cards, promotional items such as pop-up stands and vehicle graphics to name a few.”
Erskine Print has recently launched a stationery supply service in addition to providing a full range of design, print, print finishing and print management services.
