Training and Conference Centre

The Reid Macewen Training and Conference Centre provides a state-of-the-art training facility in a magnificent Tudor Gothic style building only 20 minutes' drive west of Glasgow city centre and 10 minutes' drive from Glasgow airport.

Entering through an archway under an imposing clock tower into a cobbled courtyard is like stepping back in time. The interior, however, is a careful blend of the original period features, combined with the finest facilities to create flexible meeting and conference space for up to 100 delegates.

Reid Macewen Training and Conference Centre The centre caters for meetings and seminars, exhibitions, board meetings, private dinners, celebrations and receptions. Its growing reputation and repeat business are further contributing to Erskine funds.

The centre was named Reid Macewen in honour of Erskine's two greatest patrons. Sir John Reid donated the Erskine Estate and Mansion House, which was converted to the original hospital. Sir William Macewen was the eminent surgeon who led the initiative to create Erskine. Both men worked tirelessly for the benefit of Erskine and its brave patients.
