James, 30, is Assistant Manager at the Garden Centre, after being discharged from the army after being severely injured.
The residents of Erskine have been growing and selling their own plants and vegetables for many years. Today, our new purpose-built garden centre offers a wide range of seasonal plants, garden products, tools, furniture and gifts. It’s also home to the Vanishing Willows café, supported by Nick Nairn.
The garden centre offers variety and everything you need to care for your garden. It’s also a great way to support Scotland’s ex-Service men and women as it provides employment opportunities for veterans and disabled people.
All money raised from the garden centre goes directly towards the care of our veterans at our five homes across Scotland.
The Garden Centre is open seven days a week from 9am until 6pm, and until 8pm on Thursdays.
