This unique challenge is your chance to abseil 165ft SAS style (i.e. free-fall) from the Forth Rail Bridge onto the beach below.
The Forth Bridge Abseil is a real adrenaline rush for the daring and the ultimate challenge for the rest of us! This event has been run by CHSS for several years on behalf of itself and many other Scottish Charities including Erskine, raising hundreds of thousands of pounds for good causes.
Now it’s your turn to do something daring – dress in Purple and hang from a Bridge!
No previous experience is necessary to take part in the Forth Bridge Abseil - it's suitable for everyone over the age of 16. The team of highly skilled instructors will ensure you are equipped with all you need to make your abseil as safe and enjoyable as possible.
Each abseiler must pledge to raise a minimum of £125 for Erskine in sponsorship and advance sponsorship of £20 is needed to confirm your place. Once you register, we provide all you need to get your fundraising off the ground, from sponsorship forms to press releases and hints and tips to help rope in your supporters.
