Erskine is well placed to provide rehabilitation to those ex-Service men and women injured in modern day conflict. To achieve this we are working closely with other agencies to enable us to determine the appropriate care and rehabilitation for each individual.

To this end we launched a pilot scheme with Headley Court, the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre in Surrey, run by the Ministry of Defence. The project is designed to identify veterans returning from the current conflicts who wish to return to Scotland and be nearer friends and family as they start the lengthy process of rehabilitation and adapting back to civilian life.

As well as providing 24 hour nursing care and physiotherapy by staff who understand their particular needs, Erskine can also help with supported employment, housing and contact with other veterans who have experienced difficulties during this transitional period.

Erskine is also well placed to direct individuals to other Scottish ex-Service charities providing a wide range of support to complement the work that we do.
