During more than 30 years in the British Army, David Harrison served as Defence Attache in Central Asia, as a NATO strategic planning officer in Belgium and as a senior NATO operations officer in Germany and Afghanistan. Prior to these roles he commanded a Reserve Infantry battalion in the South West of England. Since leaving the Army he has become an independent defence & security consultant, undertaking a range of learning and development assignments. He lives in Edinburgh.
