Ian is Chairman of the Erskine Audit Committee. He is a Chartered Accountant and was formerly a partner of the international accounting firm Ernst & Young LLP; since then he has been a member and vice chair of NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde, a non-executive director of Clyde Process Solutions plc and of Ricardo plc, and the external independent member of the audit committee of the Student Loans Company. He is currently a trustee and chair of the audit and risk committee at the Stroke Association and a trustee of the Endrick Trust.
