The Erskine President’s Award Winners

‘The President’s Awards’ is the Erskine annual recognition and reward initiative for staff.  The awards are given to those who consistently give more than expected of them. People who make a difference to the lives of those they work with whether it be peers, residents, families or friends.

We look for individual members of staff or teams who consistently find ways of improving the quality of life for those around them. Throughout 2020, Erskine experienced a year like no other. The pandemic brought a whole new way of working to protect and care for our residents as well as our colleagues.

The ‘President’s Awards’ initiative is an opportunity for us to celebrate and recognise the achievements of those who have gone above and beyond in their role and have shown exceptional passion, innovation or commitment in their work. People who make a difference to those around them who make Erskine the special outstanding place it is.

Nominations for the winning categories come from fellow staff members.

Last week Erskine President The Rt Hon The Lord Provost of Glasgow, Philip Braat, who presented the awards to our worthy winners said that it was always a privilege to meet award winners and have the chance to thank them personally, on behalf of the city for their fantastic contribution to Erskine. He went on to say he was continually humbled to hear how much that care means to those receiving it.
