Andrew held a number of key leadership roles in the British Army over a 30-year career. He subsequently joined NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, where he oversaw workforce, recruitment and staff bank functions, before moving to Barclays for three and a half years, initially working in Executive Development within the Talent team and later as an HR Business Manager.

His experience spans people and workforce management, talent development, strategy, organisational change and transformation, as well as supporting military communities. He is also a Non-Executive member of the Management Advisory Board of the Scottish Public Pensions Agency.

Andrew is a keen orienteer and cyclist when fitness allows, and his other interests include reading and puzzle solving. He has recently begun volunteering with the Walk Wheel Cycle Trust. He is privileged to serve as a Trustee with Erskine and is committed to contributing his experience and enthusiasm to support veterans in achieving the best possible future, care and support.
