Every year, we are so grateful to schools that raise vital funds that go directly towards the care, housing and wellbeing of ex-servicemen and women who rely on Erskine’s services.

There are lots of different ways your school can get involved, from one-off events to wider school-wide activities, and we’ll help you every step of the way.

Things we can do to help:

  • We can deliver free workshops and presentations designed to educate pupils on the care given to our Veterans at Erskine

  • Take you on tours of our homes

  • Provide opportunities for volunteering (which can work towards part of an award)

  • Give extensive support through your fundraising

  • Choosing Erskine for the Youth and Philanthropy Initiative (YPI)? We can help provide you with all the information you need, including suggested presentations, slides and stories of our veterans and the support that they receive.

School fundraising ideas

In need of some inspiration for your fundraising event? We’ve got plenty of ideas to get you started. 

  • Non-uniform days or themed dress-up days

  • Sponsored walks, runs, cycles or step challenges

  • School bake sales or coffee mornings

  • Talent shows, school concerts or variety nights
