Julie is a qualified accountant who joins the Board of Trustees having built a career spanning more than 30 years within the NHS. She began her career with NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde before being appointed Director of Finance at the Golden Jubilee National Hospital in 2006. 

Over the following 12 years, she served as an Executive Board member and Trustee, where she played a key role in leading the successful transition and expansion of the organisation from the private sector into a publicly funded Health Board.

In 2019, Julie was appointed Director of Finance, Logistics and Strategy for the Scottish Ambulance Service, where she leads a number of teams supporting the delivery of the Ambulance 2030 Strategy. Throughout her NHS career, she has led a range of transformational programmes and is motivated by making a difference and improving people’s lives.

Julie is delighted to join the Erskine Board as a Trustee and looks forward to supporting the organisation’s strategic ambitions for veterans through the delivery of the Strategy for 2025 - 2031.
