Katharine has over 20 years of strategic experience working across social care and the NHS. Since graduating with a first-class honours degree in Industrial Relations and Marketing from Strathclyde University, she has operated in consultant, director, and senior management level positions.
Katharine was the director of her own, family-run care at home organisation in Edinburgh for many years. During that period, she created systems and operating models to enable people living with long-term conditions to live with choice, control and independence. She is passionate about transforming service delivery and consistently champions co-production and participation.
She lives in Edinburgh is currently the Senior Health and Social Care Integration Lead for NHS National Services Scotland. Katharine is a member of the Marie Curie Scotland Advisory Board and a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
