I began my fundraising career in 2001, working with the Major Donor Team at the emotional support and suicide prevention charity, Samaritans. Following a spell of weekend volunteering at The Erskine Home in Bishopton, I joined Erskine as staff in 2006 and currently hold the position of Major Gifts Manager. I lead our Major Gifts Team, working across the disciplines of Trusts & Foundations, Legacy and Major Donor fundraising. In partnership with my colleagues across Erskine, and our incredible donors, I help secure funding required to develop charitable services and facilities that improve the lives of Veterans and their families. One of the most rewarding parts of my role is meeting a wide variety of people, whose generosity and dedication to helping others is truly inspirational.
