Erskine is delighted to be working with artists Gill White and James Winnett, as part of a programme of creative work across Erskine homes, which explores the interests and experiences of residents and their families, and the landscape and history of the Erskine Home. This three year project has been developed as part of the Unforgotten Forces Consortium. Using nature as their inspiration, residents will be encouraged to explore the gardens to collect materials and ideas for their projects. Lots of different art techniques are explored, including filmmaking, sound recording, storytelling, creative writing, model making, sculpture, stone carving, painting and drawing.
Beginning with a series of Art Adventures, participants explore and share various hands on art based techniques. The series will begin with Art Adventures in Nature, and our artists have set up a studio base or creative hub on site in one of the garden huts at Erskine Park Home.
