Veterans build their own bikes.

It was a special day at our Activities Centre, as we celebrated the end of a project which saw Veterans build their own bikes. The project taught our Veterans new skills, built confidence and left them with a brand new bike each!

We celebrated their achievement with wonderful live music and a gorgeous day in the sun.

This project was made possible thanks to a £35,000 donation from the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust, which allowed us to team up with Common Wheel to deliver the programme.

The Veterans taking part worked with Common Wheel bike engineers to design, build and keep their own, bespoke bike. The course accommodated Veterans of all abilities and skill levels, and was a huge success.
