John & Lee run for Erskine Veterans

Erskine salutes both John Thomson and Lee Penrice for their amazing fundraising efforts.

Firstly what an incredible effort from John Thomson and other serving soldiers from Joint Air Delivery Test and Evaluation Unit (JADTEU) based in RAF Brize Norton.

They walked a grueling 105 miles of the Cotswold Way to mark the 105 years Erskine has been on the go.

This involved tackling 26.25 miles (marathon distance) per day for four days. The end result, however, was just amazing. John and his friends raised the fantastic sum of £2175.

Not to be outdone it was nothing short of a brilliant effort from Lee Penrice.  Lee ran the London Marathon for Erskine and raised an amazing £1,972 in the process!

Thanks from everyone in Erskine to Lee and John for their monumental efforts.
