The Charity of William Kinloch Supports Our ETSA Veterans
We are delighted to share that The Charity of William Kinloch, administered by the charity ScotsCare, has awarded an incredible grant of £106,325 to Erskine. This grant is towards the core staff costs of Erskine’s Transitional Supported Accommodation (ETSA) project. We are hugely grateful to everyone at ScotsCare and The Charity of William Kinloch for this terrific support of Scotland’s Veteran community.
ETSA provides much-needed housing and a bespoke support package for up to 23 working-age Veterans and early Service leavers. Our tenants are living with mental health difficulties, physical disabilities and other major challenges after returning to civilian life. These Veterans can progress towards a successful transition into long-term employment and accommodation thanks to the dedication and expertise of our Mental Health Support Workers, Outreach Support Assistant and the whole ETSA team.
Our ETSA project has already reached over 50 Veterans in need and Erskine is hugely proud that this vital work will continue thanks to generous supporters like The Charity of William Kinloch and ScotsCare.
Shona Fleming, Chief Executive of ScotsCare: “We’re absolutely delighted to have found a meaningful and lasting home for the William Kinloch charity funds. Supporting Erskine means we’re directly contributing to the wellbeing of veterans – providing safe, comfortable homes and vital support services. It’s a cause that deeply resonates with our values, and we’re proud to be part of something that honours their service and cares for Scots that have contributed so much.”
