Erskine is thrilled to share that we have received an outstanding grant of £105,410.44 which represents the last remaining funds of The St. Andrews' Scottish Soldiers' Club, administered by the charity ScotsCare. This has been donated towards our delivery of enhanced care services to Army Veterans at The Erskine Home, Bishopton.
The Erskine Home, Bishopton continues to support up to 180 residents with expert residential, nursing, dementia, and palliative care. Our incredible frontline staff help these Veterans and their spouses to enjoy the best possible quality of life with like-minded people even while living with complex health needs.
We can only provide this level of care to our Veterans thanks to generous supporters like The St. Andrews' Scottish Soldiers' Club and ScotsCare. We would like to sincerely thank the Trustees for this terrific grant in support of Army Veterans. We also thank ScotsCare for continuing their support following their previous grant towards Erskine’s Transitional Supported Accommodation via The Charity of William Kinloch.
Shona Fleming, Chief Executive of ScotsCare: “ScotsCare is committed to supporting Scots in need, including Scottish Veterans and their families, and we are pleased to provide this grant from The St Andrews' Scottish Soldiers' Club Fund to help Erskine continue delivering their exceptional care to Army Veterans. It is a privilege to contribute to their important work.”
Ian Cumming, Chief Executive of Erskine: “We are hugely grateful to The St. Andrews' Scottish Soldiers' Club and ScotsCare for helping our Army Veteran community at The Erskine Home, Bishopton. Our Home’s hardworking and compassionate team delivers vital care services to many Army Veterans and we are privileged to help these former Army personnel enjoy the high quality of life and regular social engagement that they all truly deserve. Thank you all very much.”
