What is the Ingliston Drive-In Movie Night?

An outdoor cinema experience at Ingliston Country Club, where you watch classic romantic films from the comfort of your car. Enjoy a big screen, in-car audio, and great food, all while supporting Erskine Veterans Charity, with all funds raised going directly to the charity.

Sunday 22nd February at Ingliston Country Club, Old Greenock Rd, Bishopton, PA7 5PA.

What movies are you showing?

• The Notebook (12A)
Both films are suitable for ages 13+. Parental discretion is advised.

Tickets & Booking

Where do I buy tickets?

Tickets are available via Enthuse and must be purchased in advance.

How much are tickets?

Tickets are £35 per car. 

How many people can I bring per ticket?

Your ticket covers one vehicle, including the driver and passengers, up to the vehicle’s legal capacity. Please don’t overload your car so everyone can comfortably view the screen.

Do I need to print my ticket?

No, digital tickets are accepted. We recommend taking a screenshot in advance in case of limited mobile signal on arrival.

Can I attend both movies?

Yes, however one ticket allows you to enjoy one screening. If you want to stay for the second movie, you will need two tickets, one for each screening. 

Arrival & Parking

When should I arrive?

• Dirty Dancing: Arrival from 4:30pm, movie starts at 5:30pm
• The Notebook: Arrival from 8:00pm, movie starts at 9:00pm

Please arrive at least 20 minutes before your chosen screening. Late arrivals may not be admitted.

Can I reserve a parking space?

No. Parking is allocated on arrival and will be based on the size of your vehicle.

How is parking organised?

Vehicles are parked by size and height. High-sided vehicles may be directed to designated areas to ensure clear views for all guests.

Movie Experience

How do I hear the movie?

Audio is broadcast via FM radio. You’ll need a working in-car radio. The frequency will be provided on arrival.

Can I sit outside my car?

For the comfort and safety of all guests, we ask that you remain in or immediately beside your vehicle during the screening.

What should I bring?

Warm clothing, blankets, cushions, and anything else to keep cosy during the evening. Please wear suitable footwear when leaving your vehicle.

Food & Drink

Is food and drink available?

Yes. Pizza and drinks from Ingliston’s bar will be available to purchase and enjoyed from your car.

Can I bring my own food and drink?

Yes. outside food and drink is allowed. Please do not bring alcohol.

Facilities & Accessibility

Are there toilets on site?

Yes. Toilet facilities will be available, including accessible toilets.

Is the event wheelchair accessible?

Yes. The venue is wheelchair accessible. If you have specific accessibility requirements, please contact us in advance so we can assist.

Vehicles & Pets

Are 4x4s or SUVs allowed?

Yes. High-sided vehicles may be parked in designated areas.

Are vans or campervans allowed?

No. Vans, coaches, caravans, and commercial vehicles are not permitted.

Can I bring my pet?

No, pets are not permitted at this event, with the exception of assistance dogs.

Weather & Cancellations

What happens if the weather is bad?

The event will go ahead in most weather conditions as you’ll be inside your car. In the unlikely event of extreme weather, updates will be shared via official event channels.

Are tickets refundable?

Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable, unless the event is cancelled. In the event of cancellation, ticket holders will be contacted directly.

Tickets & Entry

  • Tickets are valid only for the date and times shown on the ticket.
  • Each ticket is valid for one vehicle, including the driver and passengers (up to the vehicle’s legal capacity).
  • Tickets cost £35 per car and must be purchased in advance via Enthuse.
  • Each ticket is for one screening. To watch both movies, tickets for both screenings must be purchased.
  • Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable, unless the event is cancelled.
  • Tickets may be shown digitally on arrival.
  • Multiple ticket purchases are permitted.
  • Entry may be refused if tickets are invalid, duplicated, or altered

Arrival & Screening Times

  • Dirty Dancing: Arrival from 4:30pm, movie starts at 5:30pm
  • The Notebook: Arrival from 8:00pm, movie starts at 9:00pm
  • Late arrivals may not be admitted to avoid disruption. Please arrive at least 20 minutes before your chosen screening.
  • Parking spaces are allocated on arrival, based on the size of vehicles.

Audio & Viewing

  • Movie audio will be broadcast via FM radio. A working in-car radio is required.
  • The FM frequency will be provided on arrival.
  • External speakers are not permitted.
  • The organiser is not responsible for audio issues caused by vehicle radios or signal interference.

Vehicles

  • Standard cars are permitted.
  • Large vans, coaches, caravans, and commercial vehicles are not permitted.
  • High-sided vehicles may be directed to designated areas.
  • Vehicles must comply with the Road Traffic Act 1988, including seatbelt use for all passengers.
  • Please do not overload your vehicle to ensure safe and comfortable viewing.

Behaviour & Safety

  • For the enjoyment of all guests, attendees must remain within or immediately beside their vehicle unless using facilities.
  • Engines and all lights (headlights, interior lights, daytime running lights) must be switched off during screenings, except briefly if charging a battery.
  • Anti-social or disruptive behaviour may result in removal without refund.
  • All instructions given by event staff must be followed at all times.

Food & Drink

  • Pizza and drinks from Ingliston’s bar will be available to purchase on site.
  • You are welcome to bring your own food and drink. Please do not bring alcohol.
  • Alcohol purchased on site must be consumed responsibly in accordance with licensing laws.
  • Glass containers are strictly prohibited.

Facilities & Accessibility

  • Toilet facilities will be available, including accessible toilets.
  • The venue is wheelchair accessible.
  • Accessible parking spaces are limited and subject to availability.

Children & Ratings

  • The event is suitable for ages 13+.
  • Dirty Dancing (12A) – 1hr 40 mins
  • The Notebook (12A) – 2hrs 3 mins
  • Parental discretion is advised. Responsibility for suitability rests with the ticket holder.

Weather

  • The event will go ahead in most weather conditions.
  • As the screening takes place inside vehicles, rain will not affect the experience.
  • In extreme weather conditions, the event may be delayed or cancelled. Updates will be communicated via official event channels.

Liability

  • Vehicles are parked at the owner’s risk.
  • The organisers accept no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to vehicles or personal belongings.
  • Attendance is at your own risk; liability for personal injury is limited to cases of proven negligence.

Photography & Media

  • Photography and filming may take place for promotional purposes.
  • By attending, you consent to the use of images featuring you or your vehicle.
  • Recording or rebroadcasting the films is strictly prohibited.

Charity

  • All funds raised from this event go directly to supporting Erskine Veterans Charity

General

  • Tickets are not exchangeable for cash or valid with any other offers.
  • The organiser reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions.
  • Failure to comply may result in removal from the event without refund.
